Toddlers are more familiar with being on a schedule. In this room, they will eat at the
table in the kitchen, with the older children. We have high chairs and bouncy seats for those that need them. Activities
for the toddlers are planned, but on a relaxed schedule.
Toddlers must meet the following criteria in order to be raised from the infant room to
the toddler room:

Must be walking,

Can no longer use a bottle,

Must be able to eat with minimal assitance, and

Is able to conform to a toddler's regular schedule (i.e. nap time, story time, etc.)
In addition, the toddler room:

The toddler room usually consists of one morning to afternoon teacher and an afternoon
to evening teacher.

There is a 1 to 8 ratio between teachers and children.

Teachers and staff have had background checks.

Staff must complete 10 hours of in-service training every year and they are required to keep a current CPR and First Aid certificate.
